The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team will host Wittenberg University on Tuesday, September 20th at 6:00 p.m. and then travel to University Heights, Ohio to face John Carroll University on Sunday, September 25th at 4:30 p.m.

CWRU Spartans (3-2-1)
The Spartans fell to cross-town rival Baldwin Wallace University, 2-1, on Wednesday evening at DiSanto Field. After a scoreless first half, CWRU came out of halftime quickly to take a 1-0 lead at 46:40 as freshman forward Kimberly Chen drilled a shot past the BW goalkeeper for her second score on the season. The Yellow Jackets countered with a free kick goal in the 77th minute and then sent the game winner into the net with 10:27 remaining on the clock.
The Spartans dropped a tough 2-1 decision to No. 24 Ohio Northern University on Saturday. The Polar Bears scored the first two goals of the match in the 8th minute and then in the 73rd minute of play. CWRU responded with one goal in the 86th minute when junior midfielder Neha Cheemalavagu scored via an assist from senior forward Amy Lindberg, but that wasn't enough as the Polar Bears held on for the 2-1 victory.
Wittenberg Tigers (3-1-2)
The Tigers tied Centre College 1-1 in a double overtime match on Wednesday night. Wittenberg took an early lead in the match as Megan Davis was awarded a penalty kick twelve minutes into the game. Centre tied the game at 1-1 in the 84th minute and the game would end in a stalemate.
The Tigers came back from a 1-0 Hanover lead at the half to defeat the Panthers, 2-1, on Saturday. The Tigers received its two goals within a three minute stretch, a Jordyn Wright header followed by an unassisted Kate Hollern goal.
John Carroll Blue Streaks (3-3-1)
The Blue Streaks won both of its games this past week as they showed resilience in a come-from behind victory over Hiram College by a score of 3-2 on Thursday night. John Carroll then defeated Kenyon College 4-1 on Sunday as they remained undefeated at home for the 2016 season.
Senior forward Amy Lindberg has scored four goals this season which ranks best on the team and currently tied for fourth in the University Athletic Association…The Spartans have totaled 93 shots and 40 shots on goal in its first six games of the 2016 campaign…CWRU has held opponents to averages of just 4.7 shots on goal per game, and 10.2 shots per contest.
