The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team will travel to Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan for the 2020 NCAA Division III Central Regional Championships on Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th.

Action is slated to begin Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the preliminary round, first round, quarterfinals, and the first three rounds of the consolation brackets all scheduled for the first day. The Regional Championships will resume on Saturday, February 29th with the remainder of the matches taking place during the day.

The NCAA Division III Championship qualifying tournament is a two-day, double-elimination format. The top-three placers in each weight class will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Division III Championships from March 13th – 14th at the Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Limited to one wrestler per weight class, 10 Spartans are currently scheduled to be attending the meet, including sophomore Adam Kates (125 pounds), senior Jacob Frisch (133 pounds), senior Alec Hoover (141 pounds), senior Andrew Hoover (149 pounds), first-year Mitchell Arch (157 pounds), senior Isaac Collier (165 pounds), sophomore Kyle Roberts (174 pounds), first-year Stephen Andryc (184 pounds), junior Brian Kent (197 pounds) and sophomore Grant Robinson (285 pounds).

Along with CWRU and host Adrian, other schools scheduled to participate include Alma, Baldwin Wallace, Defiance, Heidelberg, John Carroll, Manchester, Mount Union, Mount St. Joseph, Muskingum, Ohio Northern, Ohio Wesleyan, Olivet, Otterbein, Trine, Wabash and Wilmington.
