  • Spartan Wrestlers Split Four Matches at 2020 Si Ostrach Meet
    January 25, 2020
    The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team hosted the 2020 Si Ostrach Meet at Horsburgh Gymnasium in Cleveland, Ohio on Saturday afternoon. The Spartans split their four dual matches, defeating Kent State University-Tuscarawas 46-12 and Adrian College 27-27 on a tiebreaker but losing to Washington & Jefferson College 32-20 and Waynesburg University 26-18. Though CWRU and Adrian tied on points, the Spartans prevailed by accumulating the greater number of points for falls, defaults, forfeits, or disqualifications, 4-3.
  • CWRU Wrestling to Host Si Ostrach Meet on Saturday

    The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team will host its second-final home meet of the 2019-20 campaign this season, when the Spartans welcome Adrian College, Kent State University at Tuscarawas, Washington & Jefferson College and Waynesburg University to Horsburgh Gymnasium for the 2020 Si Ostrach Meet on Saturday, January 25th.

  • Spartan Wrestlers Split Two Dual Matches on Senior Night

    On Wednesday night in Horsburgh Gymnasium, the Case Western Reserve University wrestling team celebrated Senior Night by splitting two dual matches. First, the Spartans defeated Ohio Wesleyan University 27-26 in dramatic fashion. However, in the later match, CWRU fell to Otterbein University 38-15.
  • Wrestling to Host Ohio Wesleyan & Otterbein on Wednesday

    The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team will welcome Ohio Wesleyan University and Otterbein University to Horsburgh Gymnasium for a pair of dual matches on Wednesday, January 15th. The Spartans will face the Battling Bishops at 5:00 p.m., and then take on the Cardinals at 6:30 p.m.

    Case Western Reserve University junior Brian Kent earned a pin in his first match and then claimed a victory by decision on Saturday afternoon at the D3 National Challenge in Cleveland, Ohio, but it was not enough for the Spartans, who fell short in the final team score in each of the three contests.
