The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team will host the 2018 Ohio Intercollegiate Open Wrestling Tournament on Sunday, November 11th.
Action at the meet is slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday at the Veale Field House on the CWRU campus. The tournament will continue throughout the day, with the finals scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
Admission for the event will cost $15 for Adults (18 & over), $5 for non CWRU students (with school ID) and ages 6 to 17, and free admission for CWRU ID holders and ages 5 and under.

In addition to CWRU, other schools participating at the meet include Ashland, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Cleveland State, Davenport, Edinboro, John Carroll, Kent State, Mercyhurst, Michigan State, Notre Dame College, Ohio University, Ohio State, Ohio Wesleyan, Otterbein, Pitt, Tiffin, Urbana, West Liberty and West Virginia.
Current entries for the Spartans include freshman Adam Kates and freshman Patrick Hebreard in the 125 pound weight class, junior Alec Hoover, junior Jacob Frisch, freshman Duncan Clayton and freshman Brandon Callow in the 133 pound weight class, junior Andrew Hoover and freshman Manhattan Gatton in the 141 pound weight class, junior Jack Chimenti, freshman Brandon Barton and freshman Jack Chipps in the 149 pound weight class, sophomore Thomas Gallagher in the 157 pound weight class, junior Isaac Collier and freshman Kyle Roberts in the 165 pound weight class, freshman Aidan McCooey and freshman Trevor Chippas in the 174 pound weight class, sophomore Brian Kent and freshman Cade Lueker in the 184 pound weight class, senior Gavin Dersh-Fisher in the 197 pound weight class and senior Brian McNamara and freshman Grant Robinson in the 285 pound weight class.
This will be CWRU's first intercollegiate tournament of the season.
