Spartan Wrestlers Fall to No. 14 BW in Final Home Match Until February

CLEVELAND – Competing at home for the final time until mid-February, the Case Western Reserve University wrestling team fell to cross-town rival Baldwin Wallace University, 45-3, on Wednesday evening at Horsburgh Gymnasium.

The Spartans drop to 4-2 in dual matches this season, while the 14th-ranked Yellow Jackets improve to 4-2.

Freshman Aaran Gessic (Perry, Ohio/Perry) picked up CWRU's lone points with a 5-0 decision versus Zach Taylor at 141 pounds. Gessic is a perfect 6-0 as a rookie.

The Spartans are now idle from competition for two weeks and will return to action at the RIT Invitational on Saturday, December 6 at 9:30 a.m. in Rochester, New York.
