    LA CROSSE, Wisc. – After a dramatic finish on day one the 2011 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship, Case Western Reserve University junior 149-pounder Isaac Dukes (Ravenna, OH/Ravenna) lost by fall (6:46) in the semifinals session on Saturday, March 12 against defending national runner-up, Tony Valek, of Augsburg College (MN), but rebounded to win two in a row and finish in third-place, earning All-American status for the second consecutive year.

Dukes posted a 2-0 record on day one and advances to the semifinals tomorrow as he looks for a second consecutive national title.

Dukes, the defending national champion and top-ranked wrestler in the nation at 149 pounds, will advance to NCAA Championship Tournament in March to defend his crown.

Junior wrestler Isaac Dukes (Ravenna, OH/Ravenna), senior swimmer Robby Browning (Grosse Pointe, MI/Grosse Pointe South), freshman swimmer Maggie Dillione (Newton, PA/Council Rock North), junior track & field thrower Amanda Kline (Lancaster, OH/Lancaster), and freshman track & field thrower Harry Weintraub (Croton-on-Hudson, NY/Hendrick Hudson) were all honored for their accomplishments over the weekend.

    WHEATON, Ill. – The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team placed 20th of 32 teams competing at the two-day Pete Wilson Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College on Friday and Saturday, January 28-29 at King Arena. Junior defending national champion Isaac Dukes (Ravenna, OH/Ravenna) finished runner-up at 149 pounds and suffered only his second loss of the season – both coming against non-Division III opponents.

    MEQUON, Wisc. – Junior Isaac Dukes (Ravenna, OH/Ravenna) defeated six straight opponents with three pins to win the individual championship in the 149 pound weight class at the Concordia University (WI) Open on Saturday, November 20. Dukes was named the meet's Most Outstanding Wrestler after its conclusion, there was no team scoring at the event.
