Spartan Women Earn Spot on WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll

ATLANTA – The Case Western Reserve University women's basketball team landed a spot on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll presented by AT&T* for the 2014-15 season announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Tuesday afternoon.

The Spartans earned the No. 21 spot on the list after finishing the academic year with a team GPA of 3.486. CWRU concluded the season with four women named to the All-UAA teams after posting a 9-16 overall record and 3-11 in the UAA.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 presented by AT&T annually recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III; NAIA; and junior/community college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined grade point average (GPA) inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2014-15 season is the 20th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
