Gene Myslenski was a star offensive lineman for the Western Reserve Redcat football team in the mid-1930s. His teammates knew him best as “Moose,” and he was often described as an “All-Star of an All-Star line.” Myslenski was one of just two unanimous choices on the 1935 All-Big Four team and was selected to the All-Ohio team in both 1935 and 1936.  The Red Cats lost only one game in his three-year career, and he was selected to the first half-century team (1900-1950) as an offensive guard.
