CLEVELAND – In what seems like a bad case of deja vu, the Case Western Reserve University softball team will see its schedule altered yet again by unpredictable spring weather in northeast Ohio. Due to rainy conditions, the team's Thursday, April 11 doubleheader with local-rival John Carroll University has been postponed until Friday, April 12.
The Spartans (13-12) and Blue Streaks will play at 3:00 p.m. at Bracken Field in University Heights. The doubleheader was originally slated for 3:30 p.m.
After the Friday doubleheader, the Spartans will conclude their week with a Saturday, April 13 twinbill on the road at Oberlin College at 1:00 p.m.
The team is back home on Monday, April 15 at Mather Park with a pair of rescheduled games versus the University of Mount Union at 3:00 p.m.
