Jennifer Hoffmann
Title: Assistant Coach

Jennifer Hoffmann returned to her alma mater to serve as an assistant coach of the cross country team for the 2019 campaign.

During her first year with the team, Hoffmann's efforts helped the men's team place 24th at nationals, as the squad qualified for the meet in back-to-back years for the first time since the 1970's. Trey Razanauskas, Robert St. Clair and Yoshmar Pinal-Alfaro each earned all-region honors, while for the women, Madeline Lindemann earned all-region honors and made the NCAA Championships for the second-straight year.

Hoffmann was a standout distance runner during her career at CWRU, serving as a captain during her senior season.  She was among the team's top-six finishers in all 19 races she competed in during her cross country career, and was among the team's scoring finishers in all but one.  She recorded a career-best 6K time of 22:41 during her sophomore season, highlighting a year in which she was the team's second finisher in all six of her races.  During the track season, she notched career-best times of 2:34.66 in the 800m run and 5:13.27 in the mile run during the indoor campaign, and marks of 2:28.34 in the 800m run and 4:50.46 in the 1,500m run during the outdoor season.

In addition to her athletic achievements, Hoffmann was also a multiple time UAA All-Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree.  She was a two-time member of the CWRU Van Horn Society.

Hoffmann received her Bachelors' Degree from Case Western Reserve in May 2019 with a major in Biochemistry.
