Cross Country to Compete at Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday

The Case Western Reserve University cross country teams will head to Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio to compete in the 2018 Inter-Regional Rumble on Saturday, October 13th.  The day will begin with the women's varsity 6,000-meter race at 10:30 a.m., to be followed by the men's varsity 8,000-meter race at 11:15 a.m.

Both the Spartan men and women received votes in the latest USTFCCCA Division III Coaches' Poll this week.  In addition, the men were third, and the women fifth, in the latest Great Lakes Region poll.

Prior to hosting their alumni meet last weekend, but both the CWRU men and the women finished second in their last intercollegiate competition at the 2018 All-Ohio Championships on September 29th.  Junior Madeline Lindemann paced the women at the meet, while the men's top finisher was junior David Hall.

The Inter-Regional Rumble will also serve as the Spartans' final tune-up for the 2018 UAA Championships, which will be held two weeks later in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Results and a recap of Case Western Reserve's performance at the meet will be posted to following the completion of competition on Saturday.
