Case Western Reserve University senior Dominic Oddo was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's field, following his performance at the Seventh-Annual CWRU Spartan Holiday Classic on Saturday in the Veale Center.
Oddo claimed the title in the long jump with a mark of 6.76 meters. He then finished second in the high jump (1.85m), second in the 60-meter hurdles (8.79) and third in the 400-meter run (52.63). Oddo's mark of 6.76 meters in the long jump currently ranks first in the UAA, while his time of 52.63 in the 400-meter run ranks second.
This was Oddo's sixth UAA Athlete of the Week honor of his career.
Case Western Reserve will resume competition in the new year, with a road meet on Saturday, January 18th at the Dave Lehmen Invite in Westerville, Ohio.
