The Case Western Reserve University track and field team will continue its march towards the NCAA Division III Championships later this month, as the squad will be split between a pair of meets this weekend, heading to the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, and the Harrison Dillard Twilight at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio on Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th.
Four Spartans will be running in the distance events at the Dr. Keeler Invitational, with sophomore Trey Razanauskas competing in the 5,000-meter run and junior Grant McCarthy competing in the 10,000-meter run on Thursday, while junior Michael Hradesky will compete in the 800-meter run and freshman Logan Singer will compete in the 1,500-meter run on Friday.

Slated to compete at the Harrison Dillard Twilight for the Spartan men are senior Ananth Suresh and junior Jonathan Haling. Scheduled to be in action for the CWRU women are graduate student Cassandra Laios, seniors Shannon Carroll, Olivia Newman, Marina Yu, Sophie Trikeriotis, Ellen Sears, Isabel Torres-Padin, and Jennifer Hoffmann, junior Abbey Waltz, sophomore Taylor Jackson and freshman Kayla Reece.
Laios is currently ranked 2nd in Division III in the hammer throw (55.05m), 7th in the shot put (14.20m) and 22nd in the discus (43.78m), while Carroll is 25th in the javelin (40.33m), Newman is 24th in the 400-meter hurdles (1:03.22), Waltz is 44th in the pole vault (3.55m) and Suresh is 26th in the triple jump (14.34m).
Field events at the Harrison Dillard Twilight will begin at 12:00 p.m., while running events will begin at begin at 5:00 p.m.
