Case Western Reserve University junior Dominic Oddo was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's field, following his performance at the Sixth-Annual CWRU Spartan Holiday Classic on Saturday in the Veale Center.
Oddo claimed the title in the long jump with a mark of 6.89 meters and also added a third-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.74. His mark in the long jump and his time in the 60-meter hurdles both currently rank first in the University Athletic Association. In addition, his distance of 6.89 meters in the long jump currently ranks as the eighth-best mark in Division III.
This was Oddo's fourth UAA Athlete of the Week honor of his career.
The Spartans will continue their indoor season on Friday, December 7th and Saturday, December 8th, as they travel to Kent, Ohio for the Kent State Golden Gala.
