Case Western Reserve University sophomore Dominic Oddo was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for men's field, following his performance at the Marv Frye Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio on Saturday.
Oddo claimed the title in the long jump with a mark of 6.80 meters, while also earning a second-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (57.00) and a third-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles (16.02). His mark of 6.80 meters in the long jump currently ranks first in the UAA and tied for 21st in Division III.
This was Oddo's third UAA Athlete of the Week honor of his career.
Case Western Reserve will be back in Delaware next weekend, competing at the 2018 Outdoor All-Ohio Championships on Saturday, April 14th.
