CHICAGO – Junior Joshua Malone (Berea, Ohio/Berea) earned an All-University Athletic Association finish in the high jump, and the Case Western Reserve University men's track & field team finished sixth of seven after the second and final day of the 2014 UAA Outdoor Championship at Amos Alonzo Stagg Field.

The Spartans finished the meet with 63 points. Washington University in St. Louis won the team title with 215. Carnegie Mellon University (Pa.) finished second with a score of 166, while Emory University (Ga.) and New York University rounded out the top five.

Malone finished in third place with a leap of just over six feet (1.84m) to claim All-UAA honors.

With the season having ended for a majority of the team, select Spartans will now focus on a series of "last chance" meets to try and improve on national rankings and qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championship Meet on May 22-24 in Delaware, Ohio.
