    CLEVELAND, Ohio – Steve Rubin has announced his resignation as the head coach of Case Western Reserve University men’s and women's track & field. Rubin, who led the program for five seasons, has accepted the position of assistant coach at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jurcak now advances to the Academic All-America® ballot.

    PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Sixty-two Case Western Reserve University student-athletes spanning six athletic teams were named to the 2011-12 University Athletic Association Spring All-Academic team. Within the UAA, All-Academic Recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300.

Six former student-athletes will join the 328 members previously inducted since the club’s inception in 1975. The new members will be enshrined at the annual Spartan Club banquet on Friday, April 27.
