The Division III draw will feature 16 of the top singles and doubles pairings in the country.  Players qualified automatically by winning one of the nine ITA Fall Regional Singles and Doubles Championships across the country, or by reaching the regional semifinals and earning an at-large bid to the draw.

Chen and Hopper will be the first-ever members of the CWRU men's tennis team to compete at the prestigious event.  The duo won the Central Region doubles draw, with Hopper later claiming the singles title as well.

Chen and Hopper are the third-seeded duo in the ITA Cup doubles draw, and will begin play against Vishnu Joshi and Vikram Vasan of Johns Hopkins on Thursday at 4:15 p.m.  The winner of the match will advance to the quarterfinals on Friday against the winner of the round of 16 match between RPI's Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez and McMurry's Chase Daniell and Carlos Martinez.

The doubles semifinals will also be played on Friday, to be followed by the ITA Cup Division III Doubles Championship on Saturday.

Hopper, unseeded in the singles draw, will begin play against the runner-up at the 2019 NCAA Championships and top-seeded Leo Vithoontien of Carleton at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.  The winner of the match will take on the winner of the contest between Middlebury's Stanley Morris and RPI's Castillo-Sanchez at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday in the quarterfinals, with the losing players from each contest moving to the consolation quarterfinals at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday.

The singles semifinals will be played on Friday, followed by the Division III Championships on Saturday.

The winner of the Division III singles draw will be automatically entered in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which takes place at the Newport Beach Tennis Club & The Tennis Club at Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach, California from November 6-10.  The winning Division III doubles pairing will take part and compete for the ITA Cup against the Division II, NAIA and JuCo champions, with the winners of the draw moving on to the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
