Sophomore (2017-18): Earned the first All-UAA recognition of his career, securing an honorable mention to the all-conference team for his play at no. 6 singles… Went 20-9 during the season, tying him for the 12th-most singles wins in a season in CWRU history… His .690 singles winning percentage was the 18th-best ever in a single season by a Spartan… Was 10-8 overall in doubles play during the year, including a 9-8 mark during the fall… Reached the finals of the consolation doubles draw with Henry Squire at the ITA Fall Central Region Championships… Won 11 of his final 14 singles matches during the year… Went 8-1 as the team’s sixth singles player in 2018… Named an ITA Scholar Athlete and received UAA All-Academic recognition… Finished his sophomore season ranked 23rd in program history with 35 singles wins and 21st with a .574 singles winning percentage over the first two years of his career.
