Senior (2016-17): Registered career-high win totals in both singles and doubles play, going 11-6 in singles matches and 6-4 in doubles contests… Was a combined 4-0 in second and third singles contests during the campaign… Went 8-2 overall in singles matches during the spring… Received UAA Spring All-Academic and ITA Scholar-Athlete Recognition… Finished his Spartan career with a 23-12 singles record and a 12-17 doubles ledger.

Junior (2015-16): Notched a 5-2 singles record and a 2-5 doubles mark during the year… Saw most of his action in the fall, going 4-2 for singles and 2-1 in doubles, all in tournament play…  Teamed with Freddy Daum to win two matches in the ITA Central Region Championship Doubles Draw, reaching the round of 16 of the tournament… Participated in the ‘B’ singles draw at the ITA Fall Central Region Championships, going 3-1 to reach the quarterfinals of the event… Was 1-0 in the spring in singles play with a win at fifth singles during the Spartans’ team victory at Grossmont College… Received Spring UAA All-Academic honors.

Sophomore (2014-15): As a sophomore, went 3-4 in singles play and 3-6 in doubles.

Freshman (2013-14): Went a combined 5-2 as a freshman with a 4-0 mark in singles play…earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors. 

Personal: Earned four varsity letters at Evanston Township High School…three-time All-Central Suburban League selection…two-year individual state qualifier…honor roll student for eight semesters of high school…recipient of the 2012 Bausch and Lomb Science Award…recipient of 2013 Presidential Scholar Award...son of James and Sally Collins.
