CLEVELAND - The Case Western Reserve men's tennis team remained 12th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings. Junior CJ Krimbill (Scottsdale, AZ/Desert Mountain) is the top-ranked singles player in the Central Region.
The Spartans are ranked third in the Central Region behind Washington University in St. Louis (No. 3 nationally) and Kenyon College (No. 11 nationally).
Krimbill has won 13 of his last 14 matches at No. 1 singles, including a win over the region's then top-ranked player Nicolas Chua of University of Chicago. He and junior Louis Stuerke (Overland Park, KS/Blue Valley Northwest) are the fourth-ranked doubles team in the region.
Senior Will Drougas (Roanoke, VA/Salem) is ranked 10th in singles in the region.
