TOLEDO, Ohio – The Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team spent the weekend competing at the University of Toledo Rocket Invitational and posted six singles win, including three in doubles, over the course of the three-day (Friday-Sunday, October 1-3) tournament at UT Varsity Courts.
The Spartans saw six different athletes win in singles against primarily Divsion I competition. The doubles duo of juniors Rohan Patel (Cincinnati, OH/Sycamore) and Paul Smetona (Cleveland, OH/University) also went 2-1 overall to finish in fifth-place in the "Blue Doubles" bracket.
Over three days of competition, the Spartans competed with the hosting Toledo Rockets, Duquesne University and Kenyon College. Now finished with fall tournament play, the team will return to action at home on Wednesday, October 6 when it hosts Oberlin College in a dual match.
