Senior Keith Erichsen of the Case Western Reserve University men's swimming and diving team was recognized as a Scholar All-America honorable mention selection by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), based on his athletic and academic performance during the 2018-19 campaign.
To be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher (either in the semester of the championship or cumulative) and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. Honorable Mention selections have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a 'B' time standard or competed at their respective diving qualifying meets.
Erichsen recorded a 'B' cut time in the 1,650-yard freestyle during the 2019 University Athletic Association Championships.
The Spartans posted an 8-2 record in dual meets during the 2018-19 campaign.
