2017-18: Posted season-best times in the 100 Fly (52.07) and the 200 Fly (1:55.10) at the 2018 Midwest Invitational...also added a season-best time of 2:01.68 in the 200 IM at the Midwest Invite.

Personal: Was a four-year member of the Elgin High School swimming and diving team, serving as team captain during his sophomore, junior and senior year...was coached by John Means...named All-Coference in 2017...named Elgin High School Boys Athlete of the Year and to the Elgin Sports Hall of Fame in 2017...three-time Academic All-Conference and member of the High Honor Roll all four years in high school...also competed for the Elgin Cyclones Swim Team, where he was coached by Elizabeth Skerke...born October 9...son of Bruce and Sabine Woerner.
