Case Western Reserve University freshman Sean Twomey was named the University Athletic Association Men's Swimmer of the Week, following his performance during the team's dual meet against Carnegie Mellon University last Saturday.
Twomey placed first in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 4:12.72. His time of 4:12.72 in the 400 IM was the best in the University Athletic Association this week and currently ranks second-best in the UAA for the season.
This was the first career conference athlete of the week honor for Twomey.
CWRU will be back in action with a pair of meets this week, competing at the College of Wooster on Friday, November 3rd at 6:30 p.m., before they return to the Veale Natatorium on Saturday, November 4th to host Oberlin College at 1:00 p.m.
