The Case Western Reserve University swimming and diving team will send a small contingent of swimmers to compete at the Midwest Invitational at the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois this weekend.
With the University Athletic Association Championships happening this past weekend, only a few Spartans will make the trip to Chicago for the meet. Currently scheduled to attend for the Spartan men are juniors John Kilbane and Tommy Petro, and freshmen James Anibal, Konrad Katterle and Eli Rose. The women that are currently scheduled to attend the invite are senior Emily Boluda, juniors Abigail Dessart and Kaitlyn Gorski, sophomores Ashley Schuett and Karine Zeidan, and freshmen Erin Hartmann, Becca Segel, Corri Sept, Joanne Tan and Rachel Zable.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday, February 17th and resume on Saturday, February 18th with preliminaries at 12:00 p.m. ET and finals at 6:00 p.m. ET.
The Spartan men are currently ranked 24th in Division III, according to the College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll.
Results from the meet will be posted daily to athletics.case.edu, with a recap of the Spartans' performances at the meet to be posted following the completion of competition on Saturday.
