2014-15: His time of 20.92 seconds in the 50 Free at the Wooster Invitational ranked as the fastest by a Spartan during the season…also swam on the team’s fastest 200 Free Relay (1:24.04) and 200 Medley Relay (1:33.56)…added times of 47.38 seconds in the 100 Free (Wooster Invitational), 1:00.39 in the 100 Breast (UAA Championships) and 53.05 in the 100 Fly (Wooster Invitational) during the season…earned Academic All-UAA recognition.

2013-14: Missed entire season due to a serious medical condition.

2012-13: Earned second varsity letter…named UAA All-Academic and CSCAA Scholar All-America Honorable Mention…swam a leg in each of the team’s four record-breaking relays in the 200 medley (1:32.98), 400 medley (3:25.50), 200 free (1:22.83) and 400 free (3:04.90) events at the UAA Championship in mid-February…ranked first on the team in the 50 free and third in the 100 free…posted career bests throughout the season in the 50 free (20.83), 100 free (46.87) and 200 free (1:44.27).

2011-12: Earned first varsity letter as freshman…earned All-UAA honors as a member of the third-place 200 free relay team that posted a time of 1:24.51 at the UAA Championship…swam a leg for two first-place teams in the 400 medley relay (3:38.43) and 400 free relay (3:16.91) in a dual meet at Notre Dame on February 3…won the 100 fly with a time of 53.98 at the Veale Classic Duals.

Personal: Earned four varsity letters in swimming and two in water polo at Niles West High School...selected as an All-Central Suburban League South honoree in both swimming and water polo as a senior...earned all-conference academic honors in 2011...member of the National Honor Society as a senior and a two-time high honor roll student...son of Darrell Kerbel and Kathy Zipperer.
