CWRU Spartans (5-5-4)

The Spartans played the Emory University Eagles to a hard-fought 2-2 double-overtime tie on Friday night at DiSanto Field. Junior Seldon Magruder put the Spartans on the board first in the 50th minute. He collected a loose ball on the right side of the box and beat the Emory goalkeeper for his team-leading fifth goal of the season. Following an Emory goal to tie the match in the middle of the second half, senior Zachary Senft put the Spartans ahead in the 83rd minute. He received a pass from Magruder just outside the box and fired the ball past the goalkeeper. It was Senft's third goal of the season and Magruder's first assist this year. Emory evened the score at 2-2 in the 88th, and neither could find a 'golden goal' as the match ended in a draw.

On Sunday, the Spartans suffered a 1-0 loss to the University of Rochester as the Yellowjackets scored with just one second remaining in regulation on a corner kick.

Westminster Titans (9-5-2)

The Titans are led on offense by senior Ahmed Cisse who has totaled a team-high 21 points on eight goals and five assists. Junior Nick Iregui also contributes on offense with 17 points on eight goals and one assist. Westminster will host conference rival Saint Vincent College on Saturday, before hosting the Spartans on Monday.

This will be the second-consecutive season that the Spartans and Titans face each other, as CWRU came away with 3-1 victory last year in Cleveland, Ohio.
