Spartan Men Claim 16th Consecutive United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team has been honored for its work in the classroom with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 16th consecutive year.

Under the leadership of Head Coach Brandon Bianco, the Spartans posted a 2018-19 team grade point average of 3.40. A total of 344 men's programs across the NCAA and NAIA earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award with a minimum GPA of 3.00.

Case Western Reserve was also one of 255 colleges and universities to have both its men's and women's teams honored.

The Spartan men will be back in action on Saturday, October 5th when they travel to New York, New York to play New York University in their first weekend of UAA play. The men's game is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m.
