Men’s Soccer Battles to 0-0 Tie with Ohio Wesleyan

The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 tie in double-overtime on the road versus Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, September 14th in Delaware, Ohio.

The Spartans moved to 3-1-2 for the season, while Ohio Wesleyan is now 3-2-1 overall on the 2019 campaign.

Sophomore Charlie Fink made four saves in goal for the Spartans, while Ohio Wesleyan's J.P. Baughman was credited with four stops in net for the Battling Bishops. Ohio Wesleyan outshot CWRU 23-13 for the match, and held a 6-5 advantage in corners for the day.

Senior forward Zachary Senft recorded a team-high three shots, while senior midfielder Garrett Winter and junior defender Nathan Ekberg each tallied three shots.

The Spartans are back in action on Wednesday, September 18th when they return home to host fourth-ranked John Carroll University. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
