#11 CWRU Spartans (12-2-1, 2-1-1 UAA)

Facing a Westminster defense that had yielded just 11 goals all season, the Spartans wasted little time taking a lead on Monday evening.  CWRU struck just 23 seconds into the game, as senior forward Alex Besl was sprung on a run down the near sideline on a pass from junior midfielder Garrett Winter.  Besl drove to the end line before sending a pass into the six-yard box that was redirected into the goal by junior midfielder Marques Manta with 44:37 remaining in the opening half. A long free kick in the 10th minute of the game helped the Spartans extend their lead to 2-0 nine minutes and 43 seconds into the game.  Sophomore midfielder Connor Weber took the free kick from 56 yards out, sending it into the six-yard box, where sophomore defender Nathan Ekberg headed it in for his third goal of the campaign.

Case Western Reserve continued to apply pressure throughout the opening half, outshooting the Titans 11-3 during the first 45 minutes, including 5-1 advantages in both shots on goal and corner kicks, and carried the 2-0 lead into the break.  CWRU increased its lead to 3-0 with 38:32 remaining in the game on Zachary Senft's sixth goal of the campaign.  The Westminster defense cleared a ball out of the six yard box, but directly to Senft, who launched a low shot from 15 yards out that ricocheted off a defender and past the keeper for the goal. Westminster got on the board in the 69th minute on Nick Iregui's 15th goal of the year with an assist by Shane Fallen.  However, the Spartans defense was able to hold the Titans scoreless over the final 20 minutes of the game to secure the victory.

#9 Rochester Yellowjackets (11-1-1, 2-1-1 UAA)

The Yellowjackets defeated Endicott College, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. Rochester's goals came from junior Ulrik Koren and junior Josh Cooley while Patrick Conway earned his sixth shutout of the season, making two saves in the Yellowjacket goal.

Emory Eagles (9-5-1, 0-4-0 UAA)

The Eagles dropped a non-conference match to Oglethorpe University, 2-1, on Tuesday. Senior Tyler Walsh scored a goal in the 57th minute, but that was all the Emory offense could produce.

Emory wrapped up non-conference play with a 3-1 victory over Berry College on Sunday afternoon. Second half goals by seniors Michael Stier and Moustafa Khattab propelled the Eagles to victory, snapping the team's six-game winless streak.
