On Saturday, CWRU sophomore midfielder Zachary Senft connected on a goal in the first half to give the Spartans a 1-0 upset win over fourth-ranked Lycoming College. The game was scoreless until the 20th minute of play, when Senft received a perfectly placed pass from sophomore midfielder Marques Manta and delivered a shot past the Warrior's goalkeeper from the right side of the box. The goal was Senft's third of the season. On Saturday, the Lords saw nine different players score goals as the team took out some offensive frustration on Wittenberg University winning 10-0 in the teams North Coast Athletic Conference opener.  Myers led the Lords with two goals, his sixth and seventh of the 2017 season.
