The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team dropped a road match against the No. 11 Washington University (Mo.) Bears in double overtime, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The drops brings the Spartans to 12-4-1 overall this season and 3-3 in the UAA, while the Bears improve to 11-3-3 overall and 3-2-1 in the conference .
In the 105th minute of play, Wash. U's Ryan Sproule scored his sixth goal of the season. Finding the ball off a through pass from Andrew Zingone, Sproule found the back of the net.
CWRU will conclude its regular season and celebrate the Spartan seniors on Saturday, November 7, with a 7:30 p.m. game against Carnegie Mellon University at DiSanto Field.
