CWRU Swimming & Diving to Host ONU for Seniors' Day

CLEVELAND – The Case Western Reserve University men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams will close out the home portion of the 2014-15 schedule with Seniors’ Day versus Ohio Northern University at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24 at Veale Natatorium.

Prior to the meet, the program will honor its 12 senior student-athletes who will compete for the final time at Veale Natatorium.

Caleb Allen
Caleb is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee and a product of Bearden High School. He is a member of two school-record relays, swimming with the 200 free team to a time of 1:22.83 in 2013 and the 400 free quartet to a mark of 3:04.59 in 2014. In 2013, Caleb was named a CSCAA honorable-mention Scholar All-American as a finance major. He owns individual career bests of 21.45 the 50 free, 46.65 in the 100 free and 1:42.42 in the 200 free. Caleb is the son of Jeff and Nanci Allen.

Andrew Bollinger
Andrew is a native of Boulder, Colorado and a product of Fairview High School. He owns the school record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 51.47 in 2014, and he is a member of a pair of school-record relay teams. Andrew swam with the 200 medley team to a mark of 1:32.98 in 2013 and the 400 medley quartet to a time of 3:22.88 in 2014. Academically, Andrew is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree and a CSCAA honorable-mention Scholar All-American as a civil engineering major. Andrew’s older sister, Lucy ‘12, was also a CWRU swimmer. Andrew is the son of John and Lynn Bollinger.

Brianna Cain
Brianna is a native of Perry, Ohio and a product of Perry High School. She is a member of the school-record 200 medley relay team which accomplished a time of 1:47.45 in 2012. Brianna also held the CWRU record in the 100 breaststroke in two seasons with a most recent time of 1:06.69 in 2013-14. Academically, Brianna is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree. She is the daughter of Stan and Margaret Cain.

Sophia Colevas
Sophia is a native of Washington, D.C. and a product of St. John’s College High School. A 2014-15 team captain, Sophia is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a biomedical engineering major. She owns individual career bests of 28.35 in the 50 back, 1:01.31 in the 100 back, 2:10.38 in the 200 back and 2:13.41 in the 200 IM. Sophia leads the team in the 200 back for the third straight season. She is the daughter of Spero and Anne Colevas.

Abby Glenn
Abby is a native of Novi, Michigan and a product of Novi High School. She leads the team for the second straight season in both the 1,000 and 1,650 free. Abby owns individual career bests of 11:04.60 in the 1,000 free and 18:18.98 in the 1,650 free. An accounting major, Abby is the daughter of Michael and Amy Glenn.

Eric Haufler
Eric is a native of Westminster, Maryland and a product of Francis Scott Key High School. A 2014-15 team captain, Eric is a member of four school-record relay teams. Three of those records were set in 2014 in the 400 medley (3:22.88), 400 free (3:04.59) and 800 free (6:47.19) events while the fourth was achieved back in 2013 with the 200 free team (1:22.83). Eric also held individual CWRU records in the 200 free and 100 free at various points in his career. He owns individual career bests of 21.03 in the 50 free, 46.15 in the 100 free and 1:42.08 in the 200 free. Academically, Eric is a three-time CSCAA honorable-mention Scholar All-American and a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree. He is the son of Michael and Amy Haufler.

Elliott Kerbel
Elliott is a native of Skokie, Illinois and a product of Niles West High School. A serious medical condition sidelined him for 2013-14 campaign, but he returned to the team this season and is once against amongst CWRU’s top sprinters. In 2012-13, Elliott swam for a pair of school-record relays with a time of 1:32.98 with the 200 medley team and a mark of 1:22.83 with the 200 free quartet. He owns individual career bests of 20.83 in the 50 free and 46.87 in the 100 free. Academically, Elliott is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a biomedical engineering major as well as a 2013 CSCAA honorable-mention Scholar All-American. He is the son of Darrell Kerbel and Kathy Zipperer.

Sarah Mastrandrea
Sarah is a native of East Amherst, New York and a product of Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart. A 2014-15 team captain, Sarah is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a mechanical engineering major. She owns individual career bests of 57.92 in the 100 free, 2:06.47 in the 200 free and 1:12.92 in the 100 breaststroke. Sarah is the daughter of Michael and Lucy Mastrandrea.

Nick Pospisil
Nick is a native of Geneva, Illinois and a product of Geneva Community High School. A 2014-15 team captain, Nick is a two-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a mechanical engineering major. He owns individual career bests of 54.75 in the 100 fly, 1:57.32 in the 200 fly, 1:57.73 in the 200 IM and 4:13.58 in the 400 IM. Nick is the son of Scott and Andree Pospisil.

Allison Vogler
Allison is a native of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and a product of Mercy High School. Academically, she is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a nursing major. In the pool, she owns individual career bests of 1:03.63 in the 100 back and 2:19.40 in the 200 back. Allison is the daughter of Kevin and Michelle Vogler.

David Wolfson
David is a native of Austin, Texas and a product of the Liberal Arts and Sciences Academy. Academically, he is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a chemical engineering major. In the pool, David owns individual career bests of 4:54.16 in the 500 free, 10:28.12 in the 1,000 free and 17:09.48 in the 1,650 free. He is the son of Neal and Cassia Wolfson.

Aaron Yeung
Aaron is a native of Perrysburg, Ohio and a product of St. Johns Jesuit High School & Academy. Academically, Aaron is a three-time UAA All-Academic honoree as a management major. In the pool, he owns individual career bests of 1:02.44 in the 100 breaststroke, 2:15.50 in the 200 breaststroke, 1:55.78 in the 200 fly and 4:11.99 in the 400 IM. His best times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke have each been achieved this season. Aaron is the son of Kam and Miranda Yeung.
