    The Little Rock Touchdown Club and Wright Lindsey Jennings announced on Friday afternoon that Case Western Reserve University senior defensive end Cameron Brown was selected as one of 35 Division III finalists for the 2018 Cliff Harris Award, presented to the nation’s top small college defensive player representing more than 5,000 defensive players from almost 500 NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA colleges and universities.

  • 43 Spartans Inducted into the Van Horn Society

    Case Western Reserve University and President Barbara R. Snyder inducted 43 members into the Van Horn Society, which recognizes student-athletes at the University who have recorded a cumulative grade point average of 3.8 or higher and have an academic standing of juniors or seniors at the University.

    Case Western Reserve University senior defensive end Cameron Brown (Westlake, Ohio / Westlake) was named to the D3football.com All-South Region First Team, while sophomore wide receiver Colt Morgan (Wooster, Ohio / Wooster) was selected to the Second Team, and freshman quarterback Drew Saxton (South Fayette, Pa. / South Fayette) was a Third Team honoree.

    A total of 13 Spartans earned All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference honors in 2018, and 22 claimed All-University Athletic Association Honors, including senior defensive end Cameron Brown, who was named both the PAC and UAA Defensive Player of the Year, freshman quarterback Drew Saxton, who was selected as the UAA Offensive Player of the Year and the PAC and UAA Rookie of the Year, and freshman kicker Robertson Albrecht, who was chosen as the UAA Special Teams Player of the Year.

In addition, freshman kicker Robertson Albrecht was named both the PAC and UAA Special Teams Player of the Week, senior wide receiver Luke DiFrancesco was selected as the UAA Offensive Athlete of the Week, and freshman cornerback Colin Schuster was picked as the PAC Rookie of the Week.
