CWRU’s Tuesday Baseball Game vs. John Carroll Cancelled

The Case Western Reserve University baseball regular season finale against John Carroll, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th at 3:00 p.m. at Nobby's Ballpark in Cleveland, Ohio, has been cancelled and will not be made up.

The game was cancelled due to conflicts with John Carroll's conference schedule.

With the cancellation of the game, the Spartans will end their 2019 regular season with an overall record of 22-13, and will now await the selection of the NCAA Division III Tournament field.  NCAA postseason participants, regional matchups and locations will be announced via a live selection show on ncaa.com on Monday, May 13th at 12:00 p.m.

The Spartans were ranked second in the first NCAA Mideast Regional Rankings, released last week, and currently have the fourth-rated strength of schedule in Division III.  We will continue to keep you updated on athletics.case.edu as addition regional rankings are released, heading into the selections on May 13th.
