CWRU Baseball to Face John Carroll for ‘Senior Day’ at Progressive Field on Tuesday

The Case Western Reserve University baseball team will play its annual game at Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians, on Tuesday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. against John Carroll University.

The game is free for fans to attend.  Attendees will need to print out a ticket for free at http://athletics.case.edu/ProgressiveField in order to gain entry.  Fans can also follow the game with live stats at http://athletics.case.edu/sports/bsb/2016-17/boxscores/20170502_aaql.xml.

The Spartans, 22-15 on the season, will be looking to sweep the season series with John Carroll after a 7-4 win over the Blue Streaks last Wednesday at Nobby's Ballpark.  John Carroll is 16-19 following a split of a doubleheader at home against Marietta College last weekend.

Last season, the Spartans topped John Carroll 6-1 at Progressive Field behind a complete-game win for Jake Shields.

The Spartans will also honor their seven graduating senior players – Aaron Cain, Tony Damiano, Eric Eldred, Josh Neal, Andrew Rossman, Jake Shields and Preston Williams – with a special 'Senior Day' ceremony prior to the start of the game.
