CLEVELAND - Sophomore rightfielder Antonio Damiano (Naples, FL/Gulf Coast) singled in freshman shortstop Danny Souza (Hollister, CA/Palma) with two outs in the ninth inning to give the Case Western Reserve baseball team its third consecutive walk-off win, 3-2 over No. 12 College of Wooster.

Senior reliever Dan Sondag (Cary, NC/Green Hope) earned his second consecutive victory with 1.2 innings of scoreless relief, including retiring the final two batters in the eighth inning with the bases loaded.

The Spartans took a 2-0 lead on a pair of two-out doubles in the fourth inning. Senior third baseman Andrew Gronski (Hilliard, OH/Hilliard Davidson) led off the inning with a single and advanced to second base on a groundout. With two down, senior catcher Jordan Swisher (Pittsford, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) doubled to left-center to score Gronski and came around to score on a double by sophomore centerfielder Aaron Cain (Hartville, OH/Archbishop Hoban).

Wooster tied the game with a two-out, two-run, pinch-hit single in the seventh inning.
