2011:  Competed in all seven varsity races…qualified for NCAA Championship Meet after placing 15th with an all-region time of 22:15.99 on the 6k course at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship…named to All-UAA Second Team via an 11th-place finish (22:56.84) at the conference championship meet at Chicago…opened the season in third place at the Bill Sudeck Classic, finishing the 4k course with a time of 16:32.41…season-best 5k (18:28.30/12th) at the Calvin Knight Invitational…placed ninth at the All-Ohio Championship at Cedarville, finishing the 5k course in 19:01.10…ran in 16th place at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble with a 6k time of 23:00...finished 154th at the NCAA Championship with a 6k time of 22:38.16...named UAA All-Academic for second-straight season.

2010: Competed in all seven varsity races…earned UAA All-Academic honors…placed 17th overall at the season-opening Bill Sudeck Classic, finishing the 4K course in 16:10.89…ran a season-best 5k time of 19:21.50 at the All-Ohio Championship at Cedarville…placed 35th at the UAA Championship (23:35.92) at NYU…placed 57th in 23:27.70 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional…turned in a season-best 6K time of 22:54.60 at the NCAA Division III Championship, finishing 163rd overall.

2009: Ran in five varsity races as a freshman…posted a season-best time of 20:20.1 on the 5k course at Calvin’s Knight Invite…placed 61st with a 6k time of 26:18.53 at the UAA Championship.

Personal: Earned four varsity tennis letters, as well as two in cross country and one in soccer at Bullock Creek High School…was named Bullock Creek’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2009…named Division 4 Michigan All-State in tennis in 2009 and was a conference champion…also finished as D4 Regional Conference cross country champion and qualified for state meet with first-team all-county honors in 2008…BCHS Valedictorian in 2009…received the Society of Women Engineers Certificate of Merit in Science and Math in 2009…daughter of Frank and Donna Bowen.
