    Senior Nithya Kanagasegar of the Case Western Reserve University women’s tennis team was honored as the 2018 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Award winners were announced.
  • Four Spartans Named to All-UAA Women’s Tennis Team

    Case Western Reserve University senior Nithya Kanagasegar was selected to the All-University Athletic Association Women’s Tennis First Team at first singles, while also being named to the All-UAA Second Team with freshman Madeleine Paolucci for their play at No. 1 doubles during the season. Paolucci was also selected to the All-UAA Second Team at second singles, while senior Peyton Young earned honorable mention honors at sixth singles and Young also teamed with freshman Nicole Cardwell to earn honorable mention honors at No. 2 doubles.

The Spartans topped Swarthmore College 9-0 and 37th-ranked East Texas Baptist University 8-1 in Orlando at the USTA Tennis Center on Tuesday.

The Spartans early match against Swarthmore College was postponed due to rain and will resume play tomorrow at a time to be determined.

The Spartans will travel to Holland, Michigan to play 21st-ranked Hope College at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24th, followed by a 10:00 a.m. meeting with Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Sunday, February 25th.
