Three Spartan Women Earn Individual CSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

Three members of the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming and diving team were recognized as Scholar All-Americans by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), based on their athletic and academic performances during the 2017-18 campaign.

Senior Inez Moore, junior Suhan Mestha and junior Alli Drohosky each claimed Scholar All-America honors.

To be selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, swimmers and divers must have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher (either in the semester of the championship or cumulative) and have participated in their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.  Honorable Mention selections have similarly achieved a GPA of 3.50 and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at their respective diving qualifying meets.

Mestha earned an individual All-America honorable mention finish in the 200-yard backstroke at the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships, and Mestha, Moore and Drohosky each finished 14th as a part of the 200-yard medley relay team.

The Spartans finished 34th at the 2018 NCAA Division III Championships, and went 10-2 in dual meets during the 2017-18 campaign.
