CLEVELAND, Ohio – Senior Stephanie Campbell (Highland Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) broke her own school record in the 200-yard individual medley, and the Case Western Reserve University women's swimming & diving team sits seventh following day one of the 2012 University Athletic Association Championship hosted by CWRU inside Veale Natatorium.
No. 1 nationally-ranked Emory University (Ga.) is the leader, racking up 615 points with two days of competition remaining. No. 9 University of Chicago (Ill.) is second at 381, while No. 18 University of Rochester (N.Y.) rounds out the top three with 349 points. The quartet of Campbell, Tillie, Dillione and senior Jessica Nuhfer (Warren, Pa./Warren Area) finished third in the 400-yard medley relay, the final event of the opening evening, touching the wall in 3:54.28, also an NCAA B-Cut.
