CASA Presents 3v3 Soccer Tournament to Benefit (RED); Sign Up Today
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Case Association of Student-Athletes (CASA) will host its first 3v3 Soccer Tournament on Saturday, April 28 at Case Field. The tournament is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all skill levels, and proceeds from the event will go to benefit (RED) and the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Spartan Club Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2012
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Spartan Club, in conjunction with Case Western Reserve University Athletics, has announced its Hall of Fame induction class of 2012. Six former student-athletes will join the 328 members previously inducted since the club’s inception in 1975. The new members will be enshrined at the annual Spartan Club banquet on Friday, April 27.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Case Western Reserve University Women's Soccer Head Coach Tiffany Crooks has announced the dates for the 2012 Elite Camp for 2013 and 2014 graduates. The camp will run on Saturday and Sunday, June 16-17, at Case Field.

Simmons Named NSCAA Women’s Soccer Collegiate Scholar All-American
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Honored earlier this month with All-America acclaim for her performance on the field, Case Western Reserve University women's soccer junior forward Kendra Simmons (Medina, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) has landed her name in the program's record book once again -- this time as a 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Collegiate Scholar All-America Third Team honoree. The three teams are comprised of Division II and Division III student-athletes from across the nation.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Case Western Reserve University's Kendra Simmons (Medina, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) can add a prized possession to her trophy case, as the junior midfielder has been selected to the 2011 NSCAA/Continental Tire Division III Women's Soccer All-America Team, announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America on Friday. Along with Simmons, senior defender Kristina Vaci (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor) and sophomore forward Leah Levey (Columbus, Ohio/Bexley) were selected as NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honorees.

Spartan Women's Soccer Raises Nearly $3,400 for America SCORES Cleveland
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team held its annual "Kicks for a Cause" match in the fall and officially brought a close to the campaign at the 2011 America SCORES Cleveland Poetry SLAM, Where Words SCORE. The event hosted more than 250 "poet-athletes" from nine Cleveland Metropolitan Schools at Cleveland State University's Waetjen Auditorium.

Spartan Women's Soccer Team Honored for Academic Success
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Following a school record-breaking season on the field, the Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team was honored for its work in the classroom with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award. The Spartan women posted an outstanding team grade point average of 3.58, ranking 14th in the nation for all divisions.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The No. 19 nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve University women's soccer team saw its record-breaking season come to an end on Sunday afternoon as it fell 1-0 to State University of New York-Cortland in Round Two of the 2011 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament at Case Field. The Spartans, competing in national tournament for the first time in program history, conclude the season with a 13-4-3 overall record.

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Eighty-five Case Western Reserve University student-athletes were named to the 2011 University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic team. Within the UAA, All-Academic Recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300.
