CLEVELAND – The Case Western Reserve University wrestling team hosts its annual Si Ostrach Meet on Saturday, February 23 beginning at 11:00 a.m. inside historic Adelbert Gymnasium.

With a multitude of events happening at the Veale Center, the Spartans will compete at Adelbert Gymnasium for the first time in years. Built from 1918-19 and dedicated on June 1, 1919, Adelbert served as the home to the Western Reserve University Redcat varsity athletics program for more than 50 years. Although it did not annually play host to a varsity athletic event for several decades, Adelbert was the site for four-straight Spartan Basketball Throwback Weekends from 2006-09.

For the second-straight season, the Si Ostrach Meet will feature four teams with the Spartans playing host to Rochester Institute of Technology (N.Y.), Muskingum University and Thiel College (Pa.).

The event will also be the final home competition in the careers of senior Evan McDowell (Bellaire, Texas/Episcopal) and graduate student Dale English (Middleburg Heights, Ohio/Holy Name).

Parking is available at the Veale Parking Garage (Lot 53), which is located at 2138 Adelbert Road. Adelbert Gymnasium sits directly beside One to One Fitness across the road from UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
