    Spartans Fall to Emory 79-65 in UAA Home Opener Case Western Reserve University sophomore Hillary Hellmann scored a game-high 20 points, and senior guard Jess McCoy finished Friday’s game with a double-double, contributing 11 points and 12 rebounds, but it was not enough for the Spartans, who dropped the first game of their home conference schedule to the visiting Emory University Eagles, 79-65.

    Women’s Basketball to Open Home UAA Slate against Emory & #23 Rochester Returning to Cleveland from an eight-game road stretch in a five-way tie for first place in the University Athletic Association, the Case Western Reserve University women’s basketball team will play its first conference home games of the season against Emory University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20th, and the University of Rochester at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22nd at Horsburgh Gymnasium.
