CWRU Cross Country to Preview Regional Course at OWU Invite

The Case Western Reserve University cross country teams will get an early look at the course for the 2017 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships, when the team travels to Liberty Park in Powell, Ohio for the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational on Saturday, September 9th.

The meet will kick off with the men's 8.000-meter run at 10:30 a.m., with the women's 6,000-meter race scheduled to follow at 11:30 a.m.  Fans can follow the action with live results at http://onthemarktiming.com/past_results/results.2017/mpXc17/owuXc17/index.php.

The Spartans will be among 21 teams competing at the meet this year.  Along with CWRU and host Ohio Wesleyan, programs scheduled to be in action at the OWU Invitational include Baldwin Wallace, Bluffton, Columbus State, Cuyahoga Community College, Defiance, Denison, DePauw, Hope, John Carroll, Kenyon, Marietta, Mount Union, Oberlin, Ohio Dominican, Otterbein, Spalding, Trine, Urbana and Wittenberg.

The majority of both the men's and women's squads for Case Western Reserve will be competing at Saturday's meet.
