Men’s Tennis Sophomore Eric Klawitter Named UAA Player of the Week

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Case Western Reserve University sophomore Eric Klawitter (Arlington Heights, Ill./John  Hershey) has been selected as the University Athletic Association Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance at the Washington & Lee University Invitational this past weekend.

Klawitter opened the season with a 3-0 record in singles action to win the "C" Bracket and teamed with freshman Will Drougas for a doubles title in the "B" bracket.

Last season, Klawitter totaled a team-high 17 singles wins (17-10 overall) as a freshman.

The Spartans are back in action on September 17-19 at the Purdue University Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana.
