Case Western Reserve University senior swimmer Felipe Gomez del Campo was named to Forbes Magazines' prestigious 2016 30 Under 30 List for his continued work as the founder of FGC Plasma Solutions.
The Forbes list, produced annually, honors some of the top innovators in the country under the age of 30. 30 such individuals are recognized in each of 20 different categories, spanning a number of different industries, occupations, etc. Gomez del Campo was featured in the list recognizing those involved in the energy sector.
Gomez del Campo and his company are currently working on a revolutionary fuel injector for jet engines and has turbines, which tests have shown could lead to a 10% decrease in fuel consumption.

Currently on a training trip in Florida, the Spartans will be back in action for intercollegiate competition on Saturday, January 16th at Allegheny College.
