Former Spartan Soccer Standouts Vinny Bell, Ben Yabrow Sign with AFC Cleveland
CLEVELAND, Ohio – A pair of former Case Western Reserve University soccer standouts, All-American forward Vinny Bell (Parma Heights, Ohio/Valley Forge) and All-University Athletic Association goalkeeper Ben Yabrow (Marietta, Ga./George Walton Comprehensive), have each signed professional contracts to play for AFC Cleveland.

CASA Presents 3v3 Soccer Tournament to Benefit (RED); Sign Up Today
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Case Association of Student-Athletes (CASA) will host its first 3v3 Soccer Tournament on Saturday, April 28 at Case Field. The tournament is open to undergraduate and graduate students of all skill levels, and proceeds from the event will go to benefit (RED) and the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Spartan Trio Receives National Honor for Work in Classroom
KANSAS CITY, Kan. – Honored last week with All-America acclaim for their performance on the field, Case Western Reserve University men's soccer senior forward Vinny Bell (Parma Heights, Ohio/Valley Forge) and senior defender Niro Wimalasena (Mason, Ohio/Mason) have etched their names into the program record books once again -- this time for their work in the classroom as the duo was named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's Collegiate Scholar All-America First Team. The duo also joined senior midfielder Kyle Alsup (Avon, Ohio/Detroit Country Day, Mich.) on the Scholar All-East Region team.
