Big Day for Phi Delt
Monday night was a night for championship basketball in Horsburgh Gymnasium. Out of four games, the largest margin of victory was 12. All games were decided in the last minute of the game.
Phi Delta Theta took home lots of intramural hardware winning both the fraternity and the mullet championships. Although, to be fair, they had no chance at losing the mullet championship as two of their teams played each other. Phi Delt won the fraternity championship over Sigma Chi 37-33. The Phi Delt C team beat out the B team 28-21 in a defensive struggle.
Phi Mu and Delta Tau Delta took home the Co-Rec championship beating out Theta/Sigma Chi whose team was hurt by the injury of its team captain, William Leeds. The final score of the Co-Rec game was 42-36.
Scalabrine's Children won the open division over the High Flyers in the highest scoring game of the evening (50-38).
